Wong Ai Chiat is concurrently Head of Governance and Client Relations (GCR) and Director of the Corporate Administration & Infrastructure Department (CAID). In her GCR role, she oversees the team managing GIC’s relationships with our Client (MOF and MAS) and serves as Board and Group Executive Committee (GEC) secretariat. In her role in CAID, she is responsible for global corporate infrastructure, administration planning, and execution. This includes workplace management across all global offices, leveraging data and technology solutions, and implementing workplace wellness initiatives to cultivate an effective workplace. CAID is also responsible for GIC’s global Business Continuity Management (BCM), corporate procurement of market data and info feed, office services, and achieving neutral carbon emissions for GIC’s global operations.
Ai Chiat joined GIC in 1997 and was involved in several enterprise change projects, including a short stint from 2013 to 2014 as Deputy Head, Enterprise Process Excellence (EPE) to lead efforts to identify GIC-wide process improvement opportunities and work with stakeholders to optimise processes that span multiple groups.
Ai Chiat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance from Nanyang Technological University. She has also attended the Stanford Executive Program.
