Shireesh Vasupalli is the Deputy Head of Global Active Equities (GAEQ) in the Public Equities department. GAEQ invests in developed markets globally, and Shireesh leads the European team based in London and helps manage the overall GAEQ portfolio.

Prior to joining GIC’s Public Equities department in 2014, Shireesh was part of GIC’s Private Equity department in Singapore, where he focused on direct investments in Southeast Asia, India, North Asia and Australia from 2008 to 2014. Before joining GIC, Shireesh worked in JPMorgan’s Investment Banking division. He started his career with McKinsey & Company, India in 2001.

Shireesh holds a Bachelor of Management Science from Devi Ahilya University, India and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar, India.
