Lee Zhi Zhang is Head of Investment Finance & Controllers at GIC. He oversees GIC’s investment finance and controllership functions, which include deal advisory, structuring, valuation, investment operations, accounting, financial reporting and treasury management activities for the private markets.
Prior to joining GIC in 2017, Zhi Zhang worked for Shell in The Netherlands, Malaysia, and Singapore. He led their global Portfolio Planning function, served as CFO of a joint venture, and led Asia Pacific business development, as well as merger, acquisition, and divestment activities in the region. He was previously a board committee member of MLNG.
Zhi Zhang holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He is a Certified Practising Accountant.
