Mark Ong spent the first 10 years of his career with GIC, where he served as Head of the Fixed Income Global Credit team. Thereafter, he left GIC and assumed several positions including an entrepreneurial stint starting up his own firm.

He rejoined GIC in 2012 as a Portfolio Manager in the Asian Equity Team, and was appointed Head of Asia Pacific Equities in 2015. He also serves as Co-Head of GIC’s Technology Business Group.

Mark holds an honours degree in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and is a CFA Charterholder.
