Samit Nathirmal is Deputy Director for Portfolio Execution Group, where he helps oversee the Global Trading Unit, Balance Sheet Management Group (BMG), and Applied Research Unit. Concurrently, he is Head of the BMG, which is responsible for treasury and liquidity management, as well as securities lending and financing for GIC.

Samit joined GIC as a Trader in New York in 2007. He later led the team as Head of Americas Trading from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, Samit relocated to Singapore to lead the BMG. Before joining GIC, Samit was a trader at Ronin Capital LLC.

Samit holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University.
