Andrew Dench is Head of Asset Management for GIC Infrastructure. In this role, Andrew oversees infrastructure asset value creation and custody strategies across GIC’s offices in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Andrew joined GIC in 2016 and has built asset management capabilities across the team, including dedicated specialists. He has also held direct roles on the boards of many large and more complex investments. Prior to joining GIC, Andrew held a range of C-suite roles for network utilities and contracting businesses in Northern Europe. Earlier in his career, Andrew spent 15 years in M&A and strategic advisory, largely at Morgan Stanley, focused on the infrastructure, natural resources, and energy sectors.
Andrew holds a Master of Arts (First Class Honours) in Political Economy from the University of Glasgow. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business IT Systems from Strathclyde Graduate Business School. Andrew also studied pre-clinical medicine at Oxford University.
